ECARS 1st workshop addresses scientists working in lidar operation and lidar exploitation. Primary focus is on instrument characterization and testing, and implementation of the EARLINET QA procedures.
Case analysis, hands-on training and discussions will be moderated by experts from partnering organizations: and Max-Planck Institute for Meteorology, National Observatory of Athens, and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, as well as by external experts (Volker Freudenthaler, Ludwig Maximillians University).
