Announcement summer school 1

ECARS summer school addresses scientists working in the atmospheric ground-based and airborne remote sensing (lidar). Primary focus is on instrument set-up and operation, problem identification, daytime Raman and High Spectral Resolution techniques, and airborne lidars and campaigns. A short writing lab is also included.

Experts from leading institutions will provide lectures and hands-on training: Volker Freudenthaler (LMU), Ilya Seikov (MPI-M),Holger Linné (MPI-M),Martin Wirth (DLR), Franco Marenco (UK MetOffice), Susanne Crewell, (UCol), Lucia Mona (CNR-IMAA), Ioannis Binietoglou (NOA/INOE), Dirk Schuettemeyer (ESA/ESTEC).
