{"id":421,"date":"2018-02-12T07:38:38","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T07:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ecars.inoe.ro\/?p=421"},"modified":"2018-02-12T07:42:01","modified_gmt":"2018-02-12T07:42:01","slug":"rado-community-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ecars.inoe.ro\/index.php\/2018\/02\/12\/rado-community-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"RADO community meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Romanian Atmospheric 3D Observatory community was held in Poiana Brasov, on 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of October 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting was attended by the representatives of all regional institution involved in RADO community:\u00a0National R&amp;D Institute for Optoelectronics &#8211;\u00a0INOE 2000,\u00a0&#8220;Babes Bolyai&#8221; University of Cluj and &#8220;Alexandru Ioan Cuza&#8221; University of Iasi (UAIC).\u00a0Also, the representatives of\u00a0National Institute for Aerospace Research &#8220;Elie Carafoli&#8221;\u00a0\u2013 INCAS,\u00a0\u201cDunarea de Jos\u201d University of Galati and\u00a0National Institute for Earth Physics (NIEP) were attended this meeting as new members of RADO\u00a0community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, the following topics of interest for the RADO community were discussed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the development of present RADO ground \u2013based atmospheric facilities in Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi in order to become eligible ACTRIS stations;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the extension of RADO network by setting up new atmospheric observation stations in Galati, Eforie Nord and Maneciu.
